Opened on 19th June 1965, Hamlet Wood has served Scouts, Guides, and Uniformed Youth Organisations with camping and outdoor experiences across 27 acres of woodland just 2.5 miles south of Maidstone.
Our countryside location offers activities on-site (pioneering, abseiling, climbing) and nearby (swimming, canoeing, hiking).
Open all year for camping, building use, and training. As our team doesn't live on-site, all visits must be arranged well in advance.
